Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor to learn more about how employers and workers can benefit from apprenticeship.


Nov. 11-15, 2019:  Apprenticeship Week

What:  Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity for the apprenticeship community to tell their stories about apprenticeship and share with businesses, industry, labor, education, career-seekers, community-based organizations, students and workers the advantages of developing careers through adoption of the apprenticeship model. 


Nov. 13, 2019:  Women in Apprenticeship Panel Discussion, Blaine

What:  Join us in Blaine for a Women in Apprenticeship Panel Discussion and career hiring event. Those interested in developing an apprenticeship program or learning about its benefits are encouraged to attend. This event is open to the public.

Nov. 15, 2019:  Northeast Minnesota Apprenticeship Summit, Duluth

What:  A daylong event in collaboration with the City of Duluth and Duluth Building and Construction Trades Council. Events include an Apprenticeship 101 Overview (featuring the construction, utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and other high-growth industries), a bus tour of two apprenticeship training facilities, panel discussions featuring regional registered apprenticeship program professionals and apprentices.

Who should attend:  High school teachers, counselors and administrators, workforce development professionals, apprenticeship program coordinators and community-based organizations working with youth and their families.

When and where:  8 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15, 2019. Holiday Inn & Suites - Duluth Downtown, Great Lakes Ballroom, 200 West First Street, Duluth MN 55802. Free on-site parking available for all event attendees.

Nov. 19, 2019:  Registered Apprenticeship Opportunities, Roseau

What:  Please join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. As a strategy to meet your need for skilled workers while increasing engagement and retention, registered apprenticeship offers a time-tested employee training system that can be customized to meet the needs of any business. There is no cost to attend.
