Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor to learn more about how employers and workers can benefit from apprenticeship.


Aug. 7, 2019:  Benefits of Apprenticeship, Hibbing 

What:  A presentation for employers to learn about the benefits of registered apprenticeship. In addition, representatives from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will present about the benefits available to veterans for education and training. There is no cost to attend.

When and where:  9 to 10:30 a.m., Aug. 7, 2019, at Hibbing Community College – 1515 E. 25th Street, Hibbing, MN  55746.

Aug. 27, 2019:  Benefits of Apprenticeship, Moorhead

What:  A presentation for employers to learn about the benefits of registered apprenticeship. In addition, representatives from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will present about the benefits available to veterans for education and training. There is no cost to attend.

Sept. 17, 2019:  Benefits of Apprenticeship, Worthington

What:  A presentation for employers to learn about the benefits of registered apprenticeship. Attendees will also hear from Allison Liuzzi, Minnesota Compass project director, who will discuss Minnesota's changing demographics and implications for workforce development and economic well-being. In addition, representatives from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will present about the benefits available to veterans for education and training. There is no cost to attend.

When and where:  9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Sept. 17, 2019, at the Worthington Event Center, 1447 Prairie Drive, Worthington, MN  56187.

Nov. 11-15, 2019:  Apprenticeship Week

What:  Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity for the apprenticeship community to tell their stories about apprenticeship and share with businesses, industry, labor, education, career-seekers, community-based organizations, students and workers the advantages of developing careers through adoption of the apprenticeship model. Events are hosted throughout Minnesota. Learn more.
