Minnesota law requires employers to provide some notices to their employees and requires certain posters to be displayed in a location where employees can easily see them.

The posters and notices are available at no cost and need to be updated only when Minnesota law changes. Sign up to be notified when Minnesota posters or notices have been updated.

Languages:  The notice must be provided in English and the primary language of the employee if that is not English.

All employers must post notice of employees' rights under this law by Aug. 31, 2023.

State law prohibits employers from taking or threatening to take any adverse employment action against employees who decline to attend employer-sponsored meetings concerning religious or political matters (see Minnesota Statutes 181.531).
