What:  Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. As a strategy to meet your need for skilled workers while increasing engagement and retention, registered apprenticeship offers a time-tested employee training system that can be customized to meet the needs of any business. Attendees will also hear from Allison Liuzzi, Minnesota Compass project director, who will discuss Minnesota's changing demographics and implications for workforce development and economic well-being. In addition to the presentation about registered apprenticeship, Ed Godfrey from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will share the options and benefits available for veterans through the Minnesota G.I. Bill. There is no cost to attend.
