Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor to learn more about how employers and workers can benefit from apprenticeship.


June 11, 2019:  Benefits of Apprenticeship, Bemidji

What:  Join us to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. In addition, representatives from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will present about benefits available to veterans for education and training. There is no cost to attend.

Apprenticeship is a successful employee training program that is customizable to suit your company's need. Apprentices earn while they learn and at the end of the program, apprentices will emerge as motivated and highly skilled professionals who know your business.

June 12, 2019:  Networking Event for Apprenticeships and Community Organizations, St. Paul

What:  Join Apprenticeship Minnesota and the Department of Human Services for a Speed Networking Event designed to connect apprenticeship programs with community based organizations to build potential working partnerships.

June 18, 2019:  Best practices and successful work environments -- a case for mentorship, St. Paul

What:  Join Apprenticeship Minnesota for part one of a presentation and discussion about how leveraging employee resource or affinity groups can enhance your company’s ability to attract, develop and retain talent.

When and where:  9 to 11 a.m., June 18, 2019, at St. Paul Carpenters Training Institute, 740 Olive Street St. Paul, MN 55130

June 25, 2019:  Benefits of Apprenticeship, Willmar

What:  A presentation for employers to learn about the benefits of registered apprenticeship. Attendees will also hear from Allison Liuzzi, Minnesota Compass project director, who will discuss Minnesota's changing demographics and implications for workforce development and economic well-being. In addition, representatives from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will present about the benefits available to veterans for education and training. There is no cost to attend.

When and where:  10 a.m. to noon, June 25, 2019, at Ridgewater College, Student Services Conference Center A-240, 2101 15th Avenue NW, Willmar, MN  56201.
