Update about submitting Requests for Action

At the June 23, 2026, special meeting of the Plumbing Board, the board elected to pause the previously authorized Chapter 15 rulemaking and reconvene the 2024 UPC ad hoc Chapter 15 Rulemaking Committee to consider additional stakeholder feedback related to the adoption of Chapter 15. The committee will consider new Requests for Action (RFAs) to further modify the rules previously drafted by the committee. This means that new RFAs submitted to the committee should propose modifications of the draft rules circulated at the June 23 meeting and not for the unaltered 2024 UPC version of Chapter 15.
