Why can’t I submit an electronic plan review application and upload plans at the same time?
Two separate systems are used to complete the electronic plan review process – one for submitting plan review applications and another (ePlans) to upload plans. Although integrated, you must create an account in both systems. Both systems use your email address as your log in ID. You may use the same password for both systems. An ePlans account will be created for you automatically when your first plan review application is processed. Your invitation email to ePlans will include a temporary password. You do not create your ePlans account ahead of time.
