NEC 2026 Adoption Review Committee

This committee was formed to review the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC) to determine if any Minnesota amendments are necessary and provide a recommendation to the full Board of Electricity.

The NEC review committee met three times to review the significant changes to the 2026 NEC. During the review process, the IAEI Analysis of Changes PowerPoint was presented and discussed and committee members were provided with a summary spreadsheet to address any cost analysis.
