2026 North Country Code Seminar
A review of changes in the 2026 National Electrical Code
Registration is open for the 2026 North Country Code Seminar from the Construction Codes and Licensing Division at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry designed for electrical installers, engineers and inspectors.
This seminar will review the significant changes found in the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC) and is based on the 2026 NEC Analysis of Changes published by the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry (IAEI).
About the seminar
The North Country Code Seminar is Jan. 7 and 8, 2026, at the Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Dr, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.
This two-day seminar is approved for 16 hours of continuing education credit toward the renewal of your electrical license. Full-day attendance is required to receive credits.
Sessions will be conducted by individuals who are actively involved in the NFPA code-making process and serve on various code technical panels. Additionally, the instructors represent many different facets of the electrical industry.

The North Country Code Seminar is limited to 210 attendees. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once capacity is reached.
