Overview

Over this three-year program through Bühler Inc., apprentices will develop the skills to repair, install and troubleshoot Bühler equipment, as well as modify and configure software and hardware for their machines.

Apprentices will earn an associate’s degree in automation robotics engineering technology from Hennepin Technical College while being a full-time employee. Bühler will cover all tuition costs including everything needed for apprentices to succeed in their training, including schoolbooks, a laptop, uniform and tools. Apprentices will be paid for the time spent in college classes.

Applications

The program starts in August of every year. Applications are accepted year-round. Official recruitment begins with an open house in November and interviews in January. Offers are extended in March/April of each year. These offers are contingent upon successful completion of the Accuplacer tests at Hennepin Technical College to verify that applicants are college ready. There are no fees associated with the application process.
