Overview
Over this three-year program through Bühler Inc., apprentices will develop the skills to repair, install and troubleshoot Bühler equipment, as well as modify and configure software and hardware for their machines.
Apprentices will earn an associate’s degree in automation robotics engineering technology from Hennepin Technical College while being a full-time employee. Bühler will cover all tuition costs including everything needed for apprentices to succeed in their training, including schoolbooks, a laptop, uniform and tools. Apprentices will be paid for the time spent in college classes.
Applications
The program typically starts in August each year. However, Bühler is not hiring new apprentices for the Summer of 2026 cohort, and will continue taking new apprentices in August 2027.
Applications are accepted year-round, but official recruitment will resume with an open house in November 2026, followed by interviews in January 2027. Offers will be extended in March/April 2027, contingent upon successful completion of the Accuplacer tests at Hennepin Technical College to verify college readiness.
There are no fees associated with the application process.
