This webinar will highlight Youth Apprenticeship programs in Minnesota schools. Presenters will share information about what their programs look like within their school districts, how they partner with employers to ensure students are safe, and where they see opportunities for growing their programs.

Introduction to Apprenticeship
Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. As a strategy to meet your need for skilled workers while increasing engagement and retention, registered apprenticeship offers a time-tested employee training system that can be customized to meet the needs of any business. This session will highlight multiple industries for National Apprenticeship Week.

Construct Tomorrow
Construct Tomorrow connects with high schools across Minnesota through experiential, hands-on learning activities that feature the construction trades. Students who attend a Construct Tomorrow event receive practical, one-on-one advice from experienced trades professionals, and from current apprentices -- young men and women not much older than the students themselves -- who are thriving in apprenticeship programs.

Women in Apprenticeships
Nov. 17 is Women in Apprenticeship Day! Hear directly from apprenticeship experts who will provide an overview of registered apprenticeship as a career path. Learn how students and young adults can find apprenticeship opportunities. Plus, see apprenticeship in action as tradeswomen apprentices give virtual trade demonstrations.

Buhler National Apprenticeship Week Open House
Learn about Buhler's apprenticeship program. They offer a three-year mechatronics (mechanical and electrical) and a two-year business program. The Buhler apprenticeship program is an opportunity for students to earn a college degree, get paid to attend classes, work hands-on and graduate debt free. Students will earn an associates degree and valuable career, paid for by Buhler.
