eTRAKiT allows electrical contractors to create and pay for electrical permits online.

First-time users: Request a personal identification number (PIN) to set up your account. Send an e-mail with your company name, company license number and contact name and phone number to dli.etrakit@state.mn.us to request a PIN.

Critical notice - Unpaid permits with a status of "WEBPMTPENT" are removed from eTRAKiT after 15 days. Permits that have been properly paid will have a status of "ISSUED." Once the record is removed, you must file again to obtain a permit

NOTE: As of Oct. 3, 2011, electrical contractors will need to use their new electrical contractor license number. Essentially, all license numbers will remain the same except that the CA prefix will change to the EA prefix, and one additional leading zero will be added either EA or TS followed by six numbers (e.g. EA001234 or TS001234).
