DLI releases report on PTSD claims in Minnesota's workers’ compensation system

In 2023, the Minnesota Legislature directed the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) to conduct a study on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) claims in the workers’ compensation system and issue a report with its findings and recommendations by Aug. 1, 2025. 

DLI partnered with the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Minnesota to complete the PTSD study and prepare the report. 

The report, “Evaluating PTSD claims in Minnesota’s workers’ compensation system:  Findings and recommendations,” provides a comprehensive examination and analysis of PTSD claims in the system.
