Building Official Limited Program
Program description The Building Official Limited and Accessibility Specialist Program is an introductory training course designed to provide exposure to the fundamental concepts and subject matter necessary to begin a career either as a municipal building official limited or accessibility specialist. Participation in the course is mandatory prior to taking the respective exam to become a certified building official limited or certified accessibility specialist. However, participation is waived if an individual possesses a Building Inspection Technology Certificate.

Modular Building Plan Review
New 'ePlans' system begins April 4, 2022 As of April 4, 2022: All Interstate Industrialized Building Commission (IIBC) modular plan reviews will be submitted through a new ePlans system. All applicants must use ePlans for the IIBC plan review process. This means, CCLD is no longer able to accept paper applications, plans, specifications, calculations, and/or applicable submittal documents.

Residential building contractor complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing before an investigation can begin. Be sure to provide the details of the dispute and include as much information as possible, as well as what you would like the contractor to do to resolve your complaint. Include a daytime phone number and your mailing address on the form. Attach copies of any documents to support your complaint, such as contracts or purchase agreements, canceled checks, correspondence, municipal correction notices, mechanic's lien statements, etc..
