Can a lavatory or other permanent fixture or obstruction encroach into the clear floor space shown in Figure 28 for an accessible water closet? |
Answer: |
No. "Clear floor space" is defined in 1341.0350, Subpart 19 as unobstructed space which, unless otherwise stated, extends from the floor to a height of 80 inches above the floor. |
