Question:  

Does the installation of the water flow alarm, in a normally occupied location inside the building per section 904.3.2, necessitate the installation of audible and visual alarms in the additional locations described in Minnesota Rule Part 1341.0405, Item N? 

Answer:

No. The flow alarm only requires an audible alarm to be installed at a normally occupied location. The locations described in MSBC 1341.0405, Item N are intended for full fire alarm systems.
