Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate

A law enacted in 2012 replaces the Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate (ICEC) program with a simplified two-year pilot project for registration of construction contractors. If you already have an ICEC, you will need to register through the registration pilot program when your ICEC expiration date comes up since existing ICECs cannot be renewed.
