The Plumbing Board has adopted the rule amendments on the following topics:

  1. rules on the new classification of registered unlicensed individuals for water conditioning installation;

  2. rules on continuing education for registered unlicensed individuals;

  3. amendments to afford licensees and registrants broader access to remote and online continuing education course offerings;

  4. amendments for consistency with changes that have been made in Minnesota Statutes chapter 326B and in the Plumbing Code; and

  5. other amendments that the Pluming Board determines are needed.

  • The Plumbing Board received 25 or more timely requests for a hearing. A public hearing about the proposed rules was held Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. in the Minnesota Rooms at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, located at 443 Lafayette Road N., St. Paul, MN  55155.
