The Minnesota workers' compensation self-evaluation assessment tool gives insurers the opportunity to review a portion of their Minnesota workers' compensation claims for compliance.
The self-evaluation tool concentrates on whether an insurer's actions were done within the correct time frame as required by statute and rule. The exercise is intended to help identify areas where further training may be necessary.
Users can choose from either of the two Excel formats below.
Self-evaluation assessment option one has three tabs and the columns are in landscape layout with the files in a vertical format.
Self-evaluation assessment option two has 12 tabs and the claim information is entered in columns across the top with the topics in a vertical format.
Workers' compensation training is offered about a variety of subjects by Department of Labor and Industry staff members at the department and at other locations. Customized training classes can often be arranged at a company's location. Visit the Workers' compensation training page for more information.
