Alternative dispute-resolution services
The Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) offers an alternative to
formal litigation in resolving workers' compensation disputes. Parties may
choose to be represented by an attorney in alternative dispute-resolution or
may participate without representation.
Nonconference decision and order -- medical and rehabilitation issues
In some instances, if the parties supply sufficient information on the
medical or rehabilitation request and response forms, the department may elect
to issue a Decision and Order without holding an administrative conference.
