ANSI The American National Standards Institute, Inc. offers an online catalog, ordering information and a searchable database of more than 11,000 ANSI Standards. It also includes membership information and a calendar of coming events.
Federal OSHA The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Web site offers standards information and much more.
IRSST An occupational safety and health research institute in Canada, the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauve en sante et en securite du travail (IRRST), is a scientific research organization established in Quebec since 1980 and known for the quality of its work and expertise of its personnel.
Midwest Center for Occupational Safety and Health The Midwest Center for Occupational Safety and Health is a NIOSH-sponsored education and research center that has an online schedule of continuing education courses about various health and safety topics.
Minnesota Safety Council The Minnesota Safety Council is a private, not-for-profit organization that since 1928 has devoted all of its resources to preventing unintentional injuries ("accidents"). It offers training, consultation, outreach programs and safety resources.
NFPA The National Fire Protection Association's Web site offers NFPA standards, news releases, its calendar and meetings, arson investigation information and NFPA membership information.
NIOSH The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and offers technical safety and health information and research data, and health hazard evaluations.
