About the seminars

MNOSHA Compliance presents Construction Breakfast seminars that feature a presentation about a specific construction safety or health topic. All sessions are from 7 to 9 a.m., at the Minnesota Department of Health, Snelling Office Park, 1645 Energy Park Drive, St. Paul (get directions and a map). Free parking is available.

Big change for 2010-2011 season:  The series will no longer include breakfast, so there is no longer any fee being charged. Participants are still encouraged to pre-register for each seminar, but are not required to do so, and are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.

Dates and topics

Topics are currently being determined, but the dates for the 2010-2011 season are:

• Tues., Sept. 21, 2010 -- Locating underground utilities before digging
• Tues., Nov. 16, 2010 -- New Department of Health lead standard
• Tues., Jan. 18, 2011 -- New federal crane standard
• Tues., March 15, 2011 -- Distracted driving hazards for all employees
• Tues., May 17, 2011 -- Safety by design
