The Building Safety Month campaign, organized by the International Code
Council (ICC) and International Code Council Foundation (ICCF), was created to
increase awareness about the critical importance of building and designing safely
and
sustainable and green structures in the United
States and worldwide.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty proclaimed May, 2010, as Building Safety Month in Minnesota.
